Sony Xperia U receives 6 1 1 B 1 100 update

Sony Xperia U, entry-level smartphone of the Japanese company for the 2012, unfortunately will remain firm to Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream sandwiches and officially received the upgrade to Android Jelly Bean. However, this does not mean that Sony will not continue to support it with continuous updates in order to improve the quality of software.

Just in the last few hours, in fact, the Japanese company kicked off the release of a new update for Xperia U signed 6.1.1 b. 1,100.This new software release does not introduce new features and is based, of course, once 3.0.8 and Android Kernel 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich.
The news, in fact, only affect system performance improvements and resolving some bugs found with the previous version. The update was already released in some European countries, as evidenced by the screenshots at the end of the article, and should be available in all countries of the world, including Italy. Go indoors with Google Maps 6 0 for Android

Google Maps for mobile had its sixth birthday earlier this month and we’re celebrating by releasing the next generation of Google Maps for Android, which is first to get indoor Google Maps—announced moments ago on the Official Google Blog. We also have two other great additions in this release: a new way to switch between features in the toolbar and a new Places home screen.

Mapping the vast indoors

When you’re inside an airport, shopping mall, retail store, or other public space, Google Maps 6.0 for Android brings the freestanding map directory to the palm of your hands -- helping you determine where you are, what floor youre on, and where to go indoors. For example, in this busy travel season, you can use Google Maps 6.0 to help you find your way around airports.


Detailed floor plans automatically appear when you’re viewing the map and zoomed-in on a building where indoor map data is available. The familiar “blue dot” icon indicates your location within several meters, and when you move up or down a level in a building with multiple floors, the map will automatically update to display which floor you’re on.

Switching between features gets easier

When you open Google Maps for Android, you can do many things: view your location on the map, discover where to go with Places, get GPS turn-by-turn directions with Navigation, check in to share your location, and more. We wanted to make it easier to hop from one feature to another; so, we’ve added a drop-down menu to the top toolbar for quick access.

Fix iPhone iOS 6 1 Unknown Blank Messages Failed SMS And iMessage service

Finally, I fixed this issue of not being able to send and receive SMS, including the blank unknown SMS.
Few days after I updated iPhone 4 to iOS 6.1 I noticed some sets of Problems with the device.

The problems are:

1. I couldnt send SMS and iMessages.
2. Receiving blank SMS from unknown sender.
3. An SMS is being sent constantly to a UK number +447786205094 and being charged for it. 

Whether it is an issue with the jailbreak or with iOS 6.1 or even 6.x i dont know. 
However, these simple steps outlined below did the trick and solved the problems

Step 1

Launch Cydia and let it download its packages.

Step 2

Click on search and type in Handcent SMS

Step 3

When Handcent SMS shows up, click on it and download to your device. After download, respring springboard.

Step 4

Navigate to the Handcent SMS icon on your screen and click on it. All your messages would be displayed.

Step 5

Finally, try sending a message and you will notice that it will get delivered . You can also try receiving a message. If you cant receive any message, try putting off iMessage.

For the incessant text message to the UK number, it is caused by iMessage trying to activate the service. Just go over to Settings>Messages and turn off iMessage. You can do the same for Facetime. Once iMessage is turned off, you will notice that the messages to the UK number will stop.
Although, the main reason to this problem might be that you have multiple back-ups on your computer for multiple devices. 
While restoring contacts and other things, your mobile number may be wrongly displayed on iMessage. To fix this, a reset of network might be necessary and reboot.
